On Wednesday the children in Years 3 and 4 visited a Synagogue in Willerby as part of their learning.

We had great fun learning about the Judaismand we saw some of their special things - their Torah (Holy Book) is covered in a beautiful material and real silver!

The boys were all given a Kippah to cover their heads with as a mark of respect and we all got tried some of the
bread and wine (grape juice for us) and learnt how to speak a little Hebrew!

Some children were even lucky enough to blow the Shofah horn too!

A fantastic morning where we all learnt a great deal about faiths and beliefs.
