Tigers 2015 - 2016

A welcome from the Tigers

A very warm welcome to the Tigers' home page. Miss Billam is the Tigers' class teacher and she has the support of the teaching  assistant, Mrs. Good. You will be able to see Miss Billam out on the playground every morning from 8.40am  if you have any questions or messages.

Our P.E. sessions this term are Monday and Thursday afternoons. However, we often have P.E. at other times. For example, when we have visitors such as Freddy Fit, so it is a really good idea to have a P.E kit in school at all times.

Reading is an important  part of our school curriculum, so please make sure that your child's book bag and home reading book are in school every day. Please sign and date if you have heard your child read at home as we like to ensure all our pupils are reading regularly at home and changing  books on a weekly basis.

Our topic this term is 'Roaming Romans'. In this topic we will travel back to Roman times and explore why Britain was invaded and settled by the Romans and what effects this had on the future of Britain. We will then study everything from gladiators and aqueducts to emperors and goddesses, in this cross-curricular topic, which will capture the children's imaginations.

We are champions of change. We spent the day dressed as teachers all in aid of Children in Need.
